This picture at my sister’s house has had my focus for most of today. Stay Strong. “Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people... Be strong and very courageous . . . Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:6-7, 9 strong = having great bodily power, mentally powerful, especially able or competent, of great moral courage I am not strong. I am weakened. Beaten up and down. So much so that we removed ourselves from the daily discouragement of home to home school in Nebraska for a month. And if one more person calls it a vacation… This is a reset button. You know how when nothing else is working, you turn the thing off and back on again? Today is a brand new day. Be Brave. Stay Strong. But how? How many more books or blogs or webinars? More Breathe Yoga classes with my sister speaking words of truth, “Spirit speaks, Lisa listens.” I started this morning with my (2020 decaf) Ancient Nutrition coffee and Brian Dixon’s The Perfect Day Formula. One day at a time, sweet Jesus . . . just give me the strength to do every day what I have to do. Looking UP. A song for you: “Your Spirit” Tasha Cobbs Leonard with Kierra Sheard A verse for you: “It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.” Zechariah 4:6
