Lisa has helped me tremendously with my breast feeding issues.  I struggled with intense pain the entire time I breast fed my first baby and was told I just needed to toughen up.  I met Lisa right after I had my second baby, and she took the time to work through many issues, including mastitis and thrush, to get to the root of the problem, which turns out is not fixable.  But with my third baby she was able to help me head off some of the worst symptoms so I was able to enjoy the time I spent breast feeding my little one.  I will forever be grateful for her help.

I can’t express how thankful I am for Lisa’s lactation expertise, advice, and support. I struggled with low milk supply with my first baby and supplemented with formula via the Supplemental Nursing System (SNS) for 17 months. It was very hard. This was before meeting Lisa. I was so nervous with my second baby; I didn’t want to go through that again and I was also afraid that she wasn’t getting enough or that I wouldn’t make enough milk. Enter Lisa. She met with me at my home, listened, brought a scale (which has been invaluable in keeping my stress down about weight gain and wondering if my daughter is getting enough), offered advice, answered my MANY questions, and left me feeling more confident and positive. Not only was she supportive of my breastfeeding efforts, but was also concerned for my well-being. I’ve continued to get my questions answered and received support via text and another home visit and I could not be happier with how my breastfeeding journey has unfolded this time. I’m so grateful for Lisa and her breastfeeding expertise as well as her caring nature. Thanks to her help, my sweet girl is happy and thriving!
